At MODART Sri Lanka, we’re excited to welcome the next generation of creative minds into our vibrant community. Apply to our Bachelor in Fashion Design program in a simple and straightforward way. Follow the steps below to begin your journey toward a rewarding career in fashion. If you have any questions along the way, our friendly admissions team is here to guide you every step of the way.
Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
Ensure you meet the entry requirements:
- 2 passes in GCE A/L , or
- GCE O/L with a Diploma in Fashion Design from IAF , or
- 4-5 year work experience in the fashion/apparel industry for mature applicants.

Step 2: Gather Required Documents
- Copies of your academic qualifications
(A/L, O/L, or Diploma certificates). - A copy of your National Identity Card (NIC) or passport.
- A recent passport-sized photograph.
- Any additional documents (e.g., proof of work experience, if applicable).
Step 3: Visit the Campus & Submit Your Application
- Visit our campus to complete the application form in person.
- Submit the required documents (from Step 2) to the Admissions Officer .
- Officer will evaluate your application on the spot. If additional documents are needed, they will guide you accordingly.
Step 4: Receive Admission Confirmation
- If your application is accepted, you can proceed to the next step.
- If not, the Admissions Officer will explain the reasons and may request additional documents or clarifications.
Step 5: Pay the Admission Fee
Once your admission is confirmed, pay the admission fee in cash at the office to secure your spot in the program.
If you wish to settle any remaining payments under our flexible installment plan, you can do so. Our team will guide you through the available options & payment methods to ensure a smooth process.
Step 6: Receive Enrollment Documents & Materials
After payment, the Admissions Officer will provide you with:
- Information about orientation session, course schedules, payment details, list of things etc
- Welcome kit (uniform etc)

Yes, after gathering your documents, you (applicant) must visit the campus to submit your completed application form and documents to the Admissions Officer.
The Admissions Officer will explain the reasons and may request additional documents or clarifications to support your application.
Currently, the admission fee must be paid in cash at the office.
Bring all required documents (see Step 2), and the admission fee (if your application is accepted). If you have already obtained and filled the application form, then please do bring it along.
