At MODART Sri Lanka, we bring the legacy of MODART International Paris , the epicenter of haute couture, directly to Colombo. Our 3-year Bachelor in Fashion Design program is meticulously crafted to nurture your creativity, technical expertise, and global perspective—all without leaving Sri Lanka.
Upon graduation, you’ll earn an internationally recognized degree from by MODART International Paris, giving you a competitive edge in the global fashion industry.
By the end of the course, students will have developed their own collections, showcase in an exhibition or catwalk show and become industry-ready.

Yes, with optional study tours to global fashion capital Paris and emerging fashion hub Dubai, students gain unparalleled exposure to international fashion trends and practices which no other campuses offer in Sri Lanka.
Yes, students will explore diverse and specialize in 5 areas such as women’s wear, men’s wear, kid’s wear, lingerie, and fashion accessories. The curriculum blends creativity with technical expertise, covering fashion illustration, pattern making, trend analysis, textile workshops, and digital design tools like Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, AI (artificial intelligence) applications and many more.
The program also includes compulsory French language studies, preparing students for global opportunities and awarding them a DELF A1 certification issued by the French government. Classes for French language will be conducted by Alliance Française de Colombo.
MODART Sri Lanka enjoys close relationships with the French Embassy in Sri Lanka , Alliance Française de Colombo , and the Sri Lanka France Business Council . Through these partnerships, we host/partner prestigious events such as:
- French Spring Festival Celebrations organized by the French Embassy.

Entry Requirements:
- 2 passes in GCE A/L, or
- GCE O/L with a Diploma in Fashion Design, or
- Sufficient work experience in the fashion industry.
